Buy a DVLA Number Plate at Auction

by Administrator on May 24, 2010

Had a new car ? unhappy with the registration number, is it a random, ugly combination? Dispare no more, help is on hand. In a few days there is another auction of 1500 dvla number plates to be held at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire.

The three day event commences on Jun 2nd and as ever there will be an array of previously unissued number plates falling under the auctioneers gavel. Doubtless there will be a few scraps along the way as bidders compete to secure their ultimate DVLA number plate.

Any DVLA auction has the potential to create a few surprises and there will likely a few at Whittlebury Hall.  Proving that investors and private collectors view private number plates as a solid investment even when other investment opportunities appear vulnerable in a fragile economy.

One dvla number plates that will certainly generate significant interest is lot number 1000, registration 7 O. As with the previous “o” series number plates this one will far surpass its reserve of £1o,000. We will post news of this registrations number result at auction here as soon as we have any news.
